Whether you are struggling to cope, unable to enjoy life, or going through a hard transition, I want you to know that you are not alone. I also want to acknowledge you for seeking support. This not only shows strength of character but also great courage.
As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), with additional training in grief therapy, end of life support, trauma informed expressive arts, yoga therapy, mindfulness, and life coaching, I am here to collaboratively work with you toward positive change and achievement of your goals. Core to that process is providing you with a safe, confidential, and respectful space with empathetic listening and emotional support. From this place, you will also be supported in developing greater self-awareness, self-confidence, motivation, optimism and resilience, as well as recognizing and building your strengths, abilities, and resources. The therapeutic modalities I draw from include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). My approach is strength-based, trauma informed, and client focused. Having lived in North America, Europe, and the Middle East, I also deeply respect cultural differences and spiritual orientations, as well as the challenges that often occur when moving to a new country and/or being a first or second-generation immigrant. |
